The fill-in boyfriend

The fill-in boyfriend by kasie west

To say that I was expecting this book to be this good is an understatement, I've never thought I'd say this but this book is even better than I was expecting, I think mostly because I enjoy books like that, u know those cute scenarios that u make up in your mind and then you're like I want that in a book well this book was filled with those, it's a bit predictable but it's a fun book and honestly I don't think that effected it in any way, I love kasie west and now I love her even more and I can't wait for her to write another book, the characters in the book are just lovable and somehow I felt like I'm in a similar position to Gia's situation with her friends and somehow that made me connect with the book even more, Hayden is one of my favorite (if not THEE favorite) fictional boy character, he's just adorable and geeky and that's so beautiful, Rating 5/5 🌟

Here's the spoilery section guys so watch out!
At the beginning Bradley seemed like a genuinely nice person which made me think that he'll come back in her life in a way that would demand a love triangle but then she started saying about how she haven't met his friends and he haven't met her friends which made it seem like she's his dirty secret, honestly I don't give a damn about Bradley he wasn't that important to me at all.
Jules is exactly like someone I know so I loathed her with all my heart, I get it that she's going through some stuff with her mom but that doesn't make it okay to act like this, she's just way to possessive of Claire and she needs to chill, I just don't get how Claire can't see right through her, Gia has been her best friends for years she should have known better, she can't simply throw all of that away because of a stupid mistake, I don't get it honestly because I don't think that what Gia did is huge or unforgivable specially with her reasons, Bec is just awesome and I love her relationship with Hayden and honestly I love her whole family, it's true that sometimes Bec can get on your nerve but she's just honest and gia needs that because she's absolutely clueless, and I love how her friendship revolved with Gia it's just adorable.
Hayden Hayden Hayden, can I have him for life? He's just Perfect, so easy going and fun. I love how he takes his acting seriously and how polite he's, and everytime he's like trying to make "Eva" jealous by touching Gia my heart melts, I love the whole let's make her jealous part because it wasn't all an act there are parts where they did it because they wanted to, and I love how he offered to take her to the banquet, I won't be able to stop talking about him lol.
Drew is a douche till the end, I know that they somehow made up and all of that but I still feel like what he did is going to effect Gia forever specially since he is her brother.
Well I'd love to go on and on and on but I really have to study because my finals starts on Tuesday and I'm super nervous.

If you have read the fill in boyfriend tell me who's your favorite character? And what was your favorite part?

Amy & Roger's Epic Detour

Amy & Roger's Epic detour by                    Morgan Matson

Amy Curry is not looking forward to her summer. Her mother decided to move across the country and now it's Amy's responsibility to get their car from California to Connecticut. The only problem is, since her father died in a car accident, she isn't ready to get behind the wheel. Enter Roger. An old family friend, he also has to make the cross-country trip - and has plenty of baggage of his own. The road home may be unfamiliar - especially with their friendship venturing into uncharted territory - but together, Amy and Roger will figure out how to map their way.

This book is so fun, I want to go on a road trip across America and visit all the places they've visited. It's a beautiful summery book (I've been reading those a lot lately). Amy goes through a lot of things in this book and tbh I was expecting that whatever have happened to her is more twisted than what actually happened, I'm not saying that what happened to her isn't awful or miserable but I've read too much Colleen Hoover to know that there are worse things that can happen to you, but honestly I enjoyed the book so much. I love the graphical pages in it and I love roger. He's just the cutest, they meet up with many characters that you can't help but admire or feel connected to.
This books remind me of the edge of never but a teenaged version of it. Overall I'd definitely recommended this book to anybody who wants a fun book to read with a message behind it.

Angelfall

                 Angelfall by Susan Ee

It's been six weeks since the angels of the apocalypse destroyed the world as we know it. Only pockets of humanity remain.
Savage street gangs rule the day while fear and superstition rule the night.
When angels fly away with a helpless girl, her seventeen-year-old sister Penryn will do anything to get her back...

Angelfall by Susan EE, vampires zombies and angels we have read plenty of books about those, so what would make this book so special? First of all I've heard and read and frankly even watched plenty of things talking about zombie apocalypse but angel apocalypse? That's something new, The thing about this book is how realistic it is, i'm not talking about 100% real but it's the first book I've read about angels and thought that it really does seem real. The storyline is new and creative and I've absolutely loved it, The characters are beyond perfect you can't help it but fall in love with them, even the ones that comes out in few sentences, The writing was so good and detailed (not in a boring way) but in the "I can close my eyes and imagine all of this" way. I genuinely couldn't put it down unless I was forced to  because it's was so exciting and I can't wait to get the second book I just ordered it today and hopefully I'll get it really soon because maaaaaan the ending of the first book ..

Rating : it's definitely a 5/5 🌟's book and you can't argue about that

The Winner's Curse

The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkoski

Jude and her twin brother, Noah, are incredibly close. At thirteen, isolated Noah draws constantly and is falling in love with the charismatic boy next door, while daredevil Jude cliff-dives and wears red-red lipstick and does the talking for both of them. But three years later, Jude and Noah are barely speaking. Something has happened to wreck the twins in different and dramatic ways . . . until Jude meets a cocky, broken, beautiful boy, as well as someone else—an even more unpredictable new force in her life. The early years are Noah's story to tell. The later years are Jude's. What the twins don't realize is that they each have only half the story, and if they could just find their way back to one another, they’d have a chance to remake their world.

This book gives you a large amount of feelings that you can't define, you're so torn in between things (just like the main character is) I loved it.
The love story in this book is so genuine like it's just so pure and heartwarming, the main character is strong, notpsychically but mentally which is new because most of the novels I've read is about the girl being psychically strong (not in a manly way though) she always start revolutions and follows her heart even if it means losing the ones she love (I bet you're wondering what kind of books I'm reading lol) but in this book you learn to sacrifice. The choices she had to choose were so hard! Betraying people is not easy especially if they're wearing their heart on their sleeves. I feel like krestyl is one of the strongest female characters ever, she kept on going and pushing herself even when she didn't want to, it's very admirable, but the ending was so frustrating like I'm dying to read the second book!

I'll Give You The Sun

I'll give you the sun by jandy Nelson

Here's a little intro : Jude and her twin brother, Noah, are incredibly close.

At the beginning of this book I was confused and I kept on thinking about how overrated this book is. I sure as hell shouldn't have judged it that fast, I fell in love with this book, I fell in love with the characters and I fell in love with all the emotions I felt throughout the whole book, even sadness became a beautiful thing while reading this book. I can't even count out all the characters I loved because basically I fell in love with all of them (expect the hornets and the surfers). You can feel Noah's passion for drawing and it's so real that it makes you want to draw. I love how it's about family because you don't see that much in books now a days (well unless you're reading Disney's Frozen storybooks) I really am speechless. This book is so good that I feel like it drilled a hole in my heart, I want a relationship just like the one between Guillermo and "oscars" because it's beyond touching and cute, it feels so real. Actually everything about this book feels so real and perfect and I love it. The whole craving and drawing thing was amazing, like you don't know how much I want to be an artist, I want to draw, crave and take artistic pictures, there's so much passion in this book that it takes you off-guard most of the time.

The Anti-prom

 The Anti-prom by Abby McDonald

This story revolves around 1- the popular perfect perky girl called bliss 2-Jolene the badass punk chick who always get herself into trouble 3-the super shy anti-social meg who is also a goodie two shoes.
They've spent years at the same high school without speaking a word to one another, but that’s all about to change. Popular Bliss was having the perfect prom until she found her BFF and boyfriend making out in the back of a limo.  Jolene wouldn't be caught dead at the prom, yet here she is, trussed up in pink ruffles, risking her reputation for some guy - some guy who is forty minutes late. And shy, studious, ΓΌber-planner Meg never counted on her date’s standing her up and leaving her idling in the parking lot outside the prom.

that sounds kinda cheesy right? well sometimes cheesy can surprise you plus we all need a bit of cheesiness in our life specially after a heart wrecking book and trust me when i say that this book mended my broken heart.

from the very first page i knew that i was going to love this book because i really love books like this, they remind me of Meg Cabot's books which are the reason why i started to read.

I've reads tons (okay just a couple) of reviews that said that this book is so cheesy, I'm sorry fellas but I've to STRONGLY disagree with you, its true the whole revenge things is kinda repeated but not in this adventurous way. although the characters are so different from each other i know for sure that you can relate to all of them in some way .. which will lead to a connection between you and the book and who wouldn't want that?

i truly wished that i was a fictional character in this book just to be with them and go through what they went through.

I don't think that there was anything that i hated about this book expect the fact that i want a second book, like the whole book just talks about one night and that's definitely not enough for me.

Now lets talk about how cute Dante and Scott are. They are just perfect and i cant say anything more about them because that would lead me to spoiling the whole book.

i finished this book in a day and I'm giving it 5/5 stars!!

anyway i choose  Jolene as a song for this book.

hope you enjoy it!

The Future Of Us

THE FUTURE OF US BY JAY ASHER & CAROLYN MACKLER

first of all here's the summary of this book: It's 1996, and Josh and Emma have been neighbors their whole lives. They've been best friends almost as long - at least, up until last November, when Josh did something that changed everything. Things have been weird between them ever since, but when Josh's family gets a free AOL CD in the mail, his mom makes him bring it over so that Emma can install it on her new computer. When they sign on, they're automatically logged onto their Facebook pages. But Facebook hasn't been invented yet. And they're looking at themselves fifteen years in the future.

By refreshing their pages, they learn that making different decisions now will affect the outcome of their lives later. And as they grapple with the ups and downs of what their futures hold, they're forced to confront what they're doing right - and wrong - in the present.

This book is such an easy read, it took me about 5 hours to read the whole book and i think you don't need more than 3 days to finish it, because once you start this book  you wont be able to put it down.

To be honest the main character Emma wasn't one of my favorite characters at all, i was frustrated through out the whole book  just because she's like super selfish and annoying. i know that some of you might disagree with what i said but this is how i truly feel about her because at the beginning she doesn't really know what she wants.

on the other hand josh is actually quiet the opposite, hes kind and considerate and very sweet.
my absolute favorite character is Tyson (surprise!!) he's just one of those characters that you wish they were real so you could befriend them in real life.

I really like the idea behind this book and i know that there are lots of deeper meanings to this book but i just couldn't really see "it" because i certainly feel like that the authors left out lots of holes in this book, other than that it's really good.

This book is the type of book that you're glad you read but after few months (or day if you're me) you won't really remember the details of it.

I'd give it 3.5/5 stars

and the song that you might wanna add to your playlist while you're reading this book is .........   WALKING ON SUNSHINE .. you know what they say "old is gold"
