The Future Of Us

THE FUTURE OF US BY JAY ASHER & CAROLYN MACKLER

first of all here's the summary of this book: It's 1996, and Josh and Emma have been neighbors their whole lives. They've been best friends almost as long - at least, up until last November, when Josh did something that changed everything. Things have been weird between them ever since, but when Josh's family gets a free AOL CD in the mail, his mom makes him bring it over so that Emma can install it on her new computer. When they sign on, they're automatically logged onto their Facebook pages. But Facebook hasn't been invented yet. And they're looking at themselves fifteen years in the future.

By refreshing their pages, they learn that making different decisions now will affect the outcome of their lives later. And as they grapple with the ups and downs of what their futures hold, they're forced to confront what they're doing right - and wrong - in the present.

This book is such an easy read, it took me about 5 hours to read the whole book and i think you don't need more than 3 days to finish it, because once you start this book  you wont be able to put it down.

To be honest the main character Emma wasn't one of my favorite characters at all, i was frustrated through out the whole book  just because she's like super selfish and annoying. i know that some of you might disagree with what i said but this is how i truly feel about her because at the beginning she doesn't really know what she wants.

on the other hand josh is actually quiet the opposite, hes kind and considerate and very sweet.
my absolute favorite character is Tyson (surprise!!) he's just one of those characters that you wish they were real so you could befriend them in real life.

I really like the idea behind this book and i know that there are lots of deeper meanings to this book but i just couldn't really see "it" because i certainly feel like that the authors left out lots of holes in this book, other than that it's really good.

This book is the type of book that you're glad you read but after few months (or day if you're me) you won't really remember the details of it.

I'd give it 3.5/5 stars

and the song that you might wanna add to your playlist while you're reading this book is .........   WALKING ON SUNSHINE .. you know what they say "old is gold"

The Edge Of Never

looking for a fun book to read while you're on a road trip? The edge of never is exactly what you're looking for.

Its about a 21 year old girl called Camryn Bennett that knows where her life is exactly heading but instead of doing what shes supposed to do she took a turn .. She decides to leave the only life shes ever known and set out on her own, Grabbing her purse and her cellphone, Camryn boards a greyhound bus ready to find herself. instead she finds Andrew Parrish. and this where things get started.

after reading the summary of this book i thought that the book would be so predictable and i was surprised that there are some awesome plot twists in it that i never thought about.

first of all lets talk about Camryn, Shes the typical goodie two shoes that always stick to her "plans" in life, Dull? i know. but her personality starts showing after she meet Andrew, And shes actually someone you would want to be, Shes funny and brave and very admirable,
Andrew? i seriously wont be able to shut up if i start talking about him because hes just the perfect fictional (sadly) male character.

I'd give this book 5/5 stars  ðŸŒŸ

If you're reading this book then i recommend you to add hotel California by eagles to your playlist because later after you finish the book and months pass by and this song pops out of nowhere you will get all giddy and happy remembering all the cute scenes in this book
here's a link if you want to listen to it!

One last thing .. there's a squeal to this book, its called the edge of always i haven't read it yet.
You really don't need to read it because the ending of the first book is beyond satisfying but if you want more Andrew then go for it! I know for sure that I'm going to get it, sadly i couldn't find it in any of the bookstores i went to but I'm planning on ordering it online.

I hope you enjoyed my very first review. And if you want me to review a specific book just comment the name of the book and the author and hopefully ill get to do that!
